Update July 21, 2025

We are still in discussions with Newton Parks and Recreation about making Cabot Woods an off-leash area. The Cabot Canines Committee has a meeting this week with the Newton Off-Leash Area Working Group (OLAWG) to discuss our latest proposal which is a compromise proposal made at the request of the Parks and Rec officials. You may find both our original proposal (submitted in April 2024) and our latest proposal (submitted in April 2025) at the links below:
